- Exhibitors may tag two (2) beef animals. Exhibitors may exhibit only one(1) market beef.
- Market animals of breed will compete in beef classes. Market animals of the dairy breeds will compete in dairy beef breed classes.
- All beef cattle are required to have an official (RIFD) ear tag at the December weigh in and before entering the fairgrounds.
- All steers must be castrated at December weigh in..
- All animals must be tied with a halter and neck rope.
- Home grown animals must be born and raised on the exhibitor’s property.
- Market beef must weigh no less than 900 pounds to show and compete in market class. Animals that do not make weight may compete in showmanship and open class only.
- Dairy beef must weigh no less than 1100 pounds to show and compete in market class. Animals that do not make weight may compete in showmanship and open class only.
- Exhibition of male animals is limited to nothing older than a Senior Bull Calf.
- Produce of Dam is 2 or more daughters of different ages.
- . Seniors and Juniors will compete separately for an overall Senior Champion and an Overall Junior Champion.
- Classes may be combined or divided at the superintendent’s discretion.
